Where can I buy a COMPACT WORKSTATION IN London

We have a small space where we would like to put a desk or a workstation so that DP can work at home. We found the perfect one online and assembled only to find it is too big!!! The online measurements were wrong.

Anyway DP is reluctant to buy another one without seeing it in the flesh so if anyone knows a good shop in London or even a good website we would be very grateful.

I have already looked at IKEA, Argos, Habitat and John Lewis.

Here's hoping you can help me.

We are on the lookout for a small desk too. Haven't had any luck yet but we need to hurry as our old desk is being taken soon!

Well I can tell you of a few websites but I don't know if I would trust the measurements after our experience. I would have thought there would be loads of people in London with small nooks and crannies ready for a comact desk.

I hoping the power of Mumsnet will come good.

Do you have Stationery Box there? They sell a few (and have them up in the shop).

Otherwise how about Staples, Office World or MFI?

Thanks will have a look.

Eaney - could you post some websites that you have found small desks on please? I'll see if there are any I like and then double check their measurements!
