HELP - Mumsnet Expert Shoppers needed - looking for bedside clock

This bedside clock has very specific requirements (we had a good one, but it's got broken)

Needs:

  • it's got to be nice enough for a Christmas present (i.e. non-boring) for my dh
  • he's very short sighted, so the numbers NEED TO BE BIG with an easy to read background
  • battery is best, no radio or any fancy stuff required
  • backlit is appreciated
  • needs an alarm (and a temperature thingie on it would be nice, but not essential - we're just used to having one)

Musn't have:

  • can't be too expensive. Ideally £20 or under (saw the perfect one while surfing but it was £100 )
  • needs to be able to be bought online and arrive before Christmas

Please help - I've exhausted all other avenues

Oh, will go up to about £50 if it's absolutely perfect, but would rather spend around the £20 mark.

They're damn near perfect nellie, thank you! (Might even stretch to the slightly more expensive ones - ace!)
