Want something gentle but effective - good for dry skin. TIA.

i love the virgin vie salt scrub. pricey and I only have it about once a year and make it last....but is sooooo nice. have sanctuary stuff now (boots buy one get one free) and it's awful, quite wimpy and I don't feel the 'scrub' and end up using it with my (ahem) gloves.

'Impecto' do a really really good coconut oil one, they sell it in Bodycare and TJ Hughes and places like that, it's only £1.99 but it smells lovely and leaves your skin really soft.

I think flannel is the best exfoliator (with soap-free cleanser, or simple soap)
anything else is too harsh.

haven't heard of those stores - any near London?

Hello Yorkiegirl how are you and the girls? I'm bored at work so decided today was the day for my annual post!

Hana the stores I mentioned are cheapy ones, I imagine that any such shops - discounted toiletry ones - would sell it.
