removing curtain poles when having double glazing fitted?

Do you do this? Can anyone remember what else they moved when they double glazing put in?

had dg fitted this week and we did not take them down... no need just removed curtains... the guys took out the windows and went no where near the poles.. but I didnot cover funrniture enough -- dust went everywhere!

the guy who fitted our windows took down the curtain rails that were actually fitted onto the window frame,and put them back on again!

thanks. Hopefully they'll do it then. Dh wants to put everythign away - boks etc cos of dust. Can't wait til it's all over!!
