Recommendations for artificial christmas tree

ja9 · 24/11/2005 14:30

i love real trees, but am thinking of buying an artificial one this year because i want to have it up for longer!

i'm fussy about my trees - i want a really nice one.
willing to spend up to £100 but would rather it was less than £80. either 6 or 7 ft. with or without lights, but not decorated.

any personal recommendations?
tia

Recommendations for a nice fake tree? An imposible request!

Was jsut about to say - don't go there - everyone will tell you not to get one!

I have a 7.5 ft one from John Lewis and it's fabulous! Very bushy, no gaps and everyone comments how fab it looks.

Mine doesn't have lights and it was around £100 I think (bought a few yrs ago so can't remember!)

We got ours from homebase years ago - in one of their sales. Looks real enough & we like it.

waswondering, i know....

and we've had a real one for the last 6 years, and i do so love them,

but,

i want to have it up for longer this year. we normally spend around £40 for a real one, so if i buy an artificial tree and use it twice then i've not wasted any money... i'm not saying that i'm going to use an artificial tree every year..

(does it sound like i'm trying to convince you or myself !)
