Anyone know about Skype phones?

i wanted to get my parents one for christmas just not sure where to get themfrom

Lots of gadget type places stocking them & places like Maplins. My SIL in Oz uses one & it seems ok. Think they're about £20/25.

thats why i want to get one my brother lives in oz and they currently use skype

yes we use it through a headset rather than a phone... much easier.. handsfree! lol

Does the other person have to be online or have a Skype phone. Do they contact landlines?
