A while ago on another thread, someone mentioned using a sleeping bag that was thicker than 2.5 tog but I cant remember which message ti was or who it was that posted.
Can anyone please tell me where I can get these from?

many thanks

I don't know if it's thicker than 2.5 tog, but the thickest bag I've ever come across is from Urchin (www.urchin.co.uk?). They might be able to tell you the tog rating. It's effectively two gabs plus removable sleeves. We've got one and never had to use the whole thing yet, despite keeping the house quite cold at night.

thanks boyandgirl. I'll check out their website now.

I am interested in warmer sleeping bags and the Urchin one looks great BUT my baby is often given milk when she's wearing her Grobag and it gets stinky and needs washing a lot. We therefore have two to alternate. The thought of buying two of the Urchin ones, much as I'd like to, is too much cost. ANy other ideas? Do they ever come up in the sale?

Have you checked out the army/navy supply shop?

One of the reasons we bought the urchin bag was to have one on and one in (the wash)! Held off for ages waiting for it to be in the sale but it never was.

Ah, hadn't thought of using the two sacks separately and alternating......
While at the Army & Navy store I'll get her some camoflage gear and boots too! Trendy baby
