I have already experienced the joys of robovac... who sucks up dust while I relax. DH just sent me this link and had to share Robomop with you all. This is it... the future of cleanliness, you just have to push a button and walk off.

I clicked on the video clip it is hilarious, I want one just so I can laugh at it.

Skribble · 16/11/2005 17:12

Here is another supplier but their video clips dont work £21

GeorginaA · 16/11/2005 17:25

Does it actually work?!!

Skribble · 16/11/2005 17:41

Who knows? Unless it picks up towels, paperhankies and DH's shoes i doubt it would find much floor to clean in our house. Might put it on my Christ,as list anyway .

Skribble · 16/11/2005 17:41

That was Christmas list not Christ as list .

GeorginaA · 16/11/2005 17:42

I want to know if the robovac works too and where the link is for that

GeorginaA · 16/11/2005 17:43

And can the robomop cope with stuck on cheerios?!

Papillon · 16/11/2005 18:29

roomba robovac

Does it work well, Papillon?

GeorginaA · 16/11/2005 18:41

Robomop doesn't look as nearly as good as the Roomba Scooba...

Papillon · 16/11/2005 19:21

Yes Scooba looks good. More advanced electronic hardware than the robomop and so costs more.

The roomba has developed since the model we have. Quicker re-charging time for one. We have lots of wooden flooring so I have found the roomba to be excellent.

Our roomba is crap on carpets, but think they have models now that can do carpets... short haired ones anyway.

Papillon · 16/11/2005 19:23

you will have to ask on the roomba forum about cheerios

lol - they look FAB! Eeeked a bit at the price though...

wondering whether I can save up for one

GeorginaA · 17/11/2005 13:05

IT'S A SIGN!

My hoover just died

Furball · 17/11/2005 13:28

I recon you should be able to buy a special attachment for your hamsters exercise ball therefore giving the hanster a run AND cleaning the floor. Even better!

GeorginaA · 17/11/2005 13:32

I've ummed and ahed ... but i'm off to buy a henry. Maybe one day, when I'm rich

easiestpath · 15/12/2006 00:20

I bought it, from the German site shown above, but it doesn't work! It's an older model, without the two buttons shown on some pictures, and there is just a little socket for the charger. You're supposed to push that bit in, but even after charging, it doesn't turn on. Has anyone else had this problem, please?
