Are their products the 'real' thing ... prices look good but just want to be sure they're ok and not fakes before I buy! TIA

My friend's dh bought her perfume at cheapsmells (it came through the door with CheapSmells printed on the jiffy bag - nice ) All was fine. In fact, I may use them to get my Mum some perfume for Christmas as it's the cheapest I've found.

Millie1 · 14/11/2005 21:52

Wow ... they're doing it for £25.94 plus 95p delivery. Must bookmark their site too ... only thing is I've a list for Strawberrynet!

starlover · 14/11/2005 21:57

ok the blue grass is 16.50 on strawberrynet... but only 9.50 or something on cheapsmells!

annh · 14/11/2005 22:01

I have ordered from Strawberrynet before and DID have to pay tax. Because I ordered a fair amount and all stuff that was quite a bit cheaper, it still made sense to order from the site but you might want to factor in possible tax when calculating savings.

Chuffed · 18/11/2005 05:33

I also paid tax and it defeated the savings basically.

hockeymum · 18/11/2005 11:40

Try Asda. I have just seen Lancombe Miracle 30ml eau de toilette there for £20. In Boots and Debenhams its £30. It was even more Duty Free when my dh went to Korea. They've got loads of different ones for great prices.

(Erm and no, I don't work for them, I work for Morrisons who are pants and sell nothing good at all)

CliffRichardSucksEggsinHell · 18/11/2005 11:45

I'm experimenting at the moment with my own brand of perfume if any of you are interested? It'd make a great Stocking Filler! The scent is lovely and dark, rich, malty, just right for winter.

tamum · 18/11/2005 11:52

Same as Chuffed- had to pay a lot of tax and it worked out no cheaper. It is the real thing but you have to watch it with tax.
