Hi

Very confused as bugaboo seat warns only use after 6 months but in the instructions it says from birth. My Lo is 3 months and I would quite like to put him in the seat.

When did you make the big change?

its because of the dip in the seat for their bottom that its not really suitable from birth as they arent lying completely flat. i think at 3months you should be able to use it in a slightly reclined position.

I would say that from about 3-4 months plus you can use the seat in the semi reclined position (not flat, not upright). Have read posts about this elsewhere!
However I would not let you little one sleep in the seat for long sleeps...ideally at a young age they should be flat! It's such a faff to switch between carrycot and seat.....so personally I'd wait until 4-5 mos...or if you baby has good head control and sits ok supported.

Isn't there a wedge or adjustment to make the seat shallower ? I'm sure my friend used hers sooner than 6 months.

no there isn't...but you do put the crotch strap under a loop of fabric to make it safer....would not be that tight for a little one though.

Hmmm sounds like before 6 months will be ok but I will hang on a few more weeks and test it out. Thanks
