******Turtle mission*******

I am on a mission to find one of these turtles for my son.
I think this is it from McD's if you have one could you take a pic of it to show me if it is the right one. I don't really want to buy of e.bay but if it is the right one I will.

He left it along with another toy in the cimema about a year ago. He has had a few tearful moments about him but I though he had forgotton about it, he wrote a letter to santa and asked for turtle to come back, he got all emotional again. He is nearly 9 but very sentimental.

Ok so nobody cares that my son crys himself to sleep everynight because he lost his turtle. Anyway I found another pic and it is him, so I am going to buy it.

OOps I meant to add a . I am just so happy, I actually cried when I saw it.

OK I am still crying but that is because I got the wrong one . The one I got is an american version and its eyes aren't as big, I am now thinking that it wasn't a beanie but very similar perhaps without the beans. More like this but about 8cm not 16cm.

Thought the pleading might work, I am going to out to a shop in a nearby town that I think has the beanie baby one at 16cm. I might get it anyway but I really think it wasn't filled with beans.

Can anyone remeber IKEA having little turtles. We have a few of the little stuffed toys and i can't think wher else he could be from.

They have a couple of different Speedy turtles here but it doesn't give their sizes.

I ahve tried e.mailing them because I think the beanie buddy is different from the beanie baby, and the teenie beanie. Heres hoping

No Ive looked the buddy is bigger, the beanie baby is the smallest. it looks just like Speedy the turtle by ty..strange

Yes the buddy is bigger I went to a dhop I though had the turtle but it didn't.
I think the teenie beanie is smallest.

I checked with DS and he is sure it didn't have beans in it , just stuffed. so perhaps not a TY. The one I got id the american version of the Mcdon toy but I suspect the UK version will have beans in too.

Just to check beanies and TY are the same thing yes?
