Emmaljunga toddler seat

Hi,

I have bought a secondhand emmaljunga 3 in 1 pram with toddler seat. Not sure of the exact model (could be a "country pram"), aged approx 4 years.

The toddler seat is currently attached to the pushchair part (rather than the carrycot).

Does anyone know if it is possible to attach it to the carrycot? Would prefer this configuration when 2nd baby is born, so that newborn is able to lie absolutely flat. And is also more protected.

I think that it would involve cutting the material on the carrycot, to get access to the carrycot frame.

Any advice / thoughts?
Jenny

Hi, we had (have in loft still) an Emmaljunga toddler seat and set up. Like you, not sure how old, or what model as I got it second hand. I seem to remember that ours had bolts that went through special holes in the tubing of the handle as it went down either side of the carry cot. The bolt was pushed through and then attached with a wing nut. The seat itself was just over the baby's feet. Does this help at all? I can get more specific if needs be..

try the emmaljunga website - it has a very obvious address - I looked on it ages ago and it seemed very thorough. they may have a contact us e mial address.

Hi, you have the toddler seat and the adaptor to fit it to the pram whilst using the seat unit. You need a different adaptor to fit it to the pram when using the carrycot. It costs around £15.00. You need to find an Emmaljunga stockist and order it (it's not usually a stockroon item) and order one, it may take a few weeks though.
Hope this helps.

Thanks everyone.

Will be popping down to local stockist tommorow to find out about the adaptor.

Thanks Again
Jenny
