Worth it for an occassional reader?

i don't read as much as I'd like. I want to start.

It's my 30th soon so family have asked what I'd like. A kindle would be a proper big treat.

Is it worth it if you don't read masses?
Would I be better off just going back to real books?

TIA :)

You can download Kindle software for a PC from Amazon free of charge if there's only the occasional book you want. Although, having looked at the prices of Kindle books on Amazon (only a couple of quid cheaper on a £10 book), you might decide to buy the real book anyway.

If you've got an Android phone, IPhone or IPad you can get the kindle app and give it a try before you buy.

As for reading, I am reading more than ever since I got my Kindle. If fact have become a bit antisocial with DH and just read. So you may find that if you get one you do read more.
