Tom's of Maine

NotQuiteCockney · 12/11/2005 22:18

By definition, deodorants aren't really perfume-free - they have scents to cover the scent of sweat, IYSWIM.

Tom's of Maine make nice stuff, though. So do Kiss My Face. Try your local health food store?

expatinscotland · 12/11/2005 22:18

Sainsbury's carries their line.

RTKangaMummy · 12/11/2005 22:18

Thanks

Haven't heard of that one

can you buy it in tesco or boots etc?

Try Boots. I have seen them in Sainsbury's deffo and in HOlland & Barratt's.

rtkm my dp has the most incredibly sensitive skin in the world.
he uses nivea (for men?) it's in a dark blue bottle and is a roll-on and it has some red writing on it.

it's a bit weird to find in the shops.... always seems to be in the womens section for some reason!

Janh · 12/11/2005 22:21

Sanex? DS1 has v sensitive skin and he used to use that (now he insists on eg Adidas because he's 17 and big and tough but Sanex was good).

Janh · 12/11/2005 22:23

Just reading the Sanex tin, it is alcohol free but is slightly scented - also includes lactoserum so no good for anyone with a dairy intolerance presumably.

RTKangaMummy · 12/11/2005 22:24

Didn't think about deodorant not working without a smell

DH bought NIVEA PURE ROLL ON - but it does have a smell

Kangaboy hasn't seen it yet

Never thought about health food shops

Just realised today he needed to start using it and was a bit shocked at 10 years old

This is what I use.

meysey · 13/11/2005 19:35

Lush do a range of ones that are very gentle... they do have smells but some are designed for men... they are solid bars and perfect if you are worried about dodgy chemicals in deodorants too... DH and I both use them and allegedly so does Julia Roberts!

DEFFO BRILL

I use the crystal one Trefusis mentions. It really works.
