Ok, I've narrowed it down - Buzz, Loola or Zooper Elite????

Am on a hunt for the perfect pushchair (this is my 2nd thread on it!) - want one that can be rear facing, lie flat (or almost) and not too big or heavy.

Buzz - like it a lot (especialy as can now get a basket for it) - concerns are: Have read that there are some issues with build quality; customer service is apparently not great; can't fold it with seat facing rearwards. Also read that raincover is a bit of a fafff (have to take it off completely in shops etc.)

Loola - lighter than Buzz but handles are a bit low (I'm 5'10") and seems a bit flimsy

Zooper - not seen it "in the flesh" but looks similar to the Buzz - comes with a basket and have heard that really well made and great customer service.

If anyone has any of these and give me pros/cons would be very grateful. This will be my third buggy purchase and has to be my last!

The Loola doesn't lie quite flat - not sure it's suitable from birth (but not sure, so do check before you discard it!).

We have the loola and haven't found it flimsy - it gets a good bumping up and down our concrete front steps every outing and a vigorous workout when we are 'joggling' dd to sleep in it. It doesn't lie completely flat, so we only used for dd from about 6 weeks or so and used the carseat attachment on the chassis prior to that.

Overall I'm very happy with it.

roosmoo · 11/11/2005 20:18

friend bought the loola for the reverse facing thing, & apparently can't be folded like this (tipex will know?) which is a total pain, she reckons. also thinks it's rubbish on any ground other than tarmac etc.
like the buzz, but then i have a 3 wheel fetish!

roosmoo · 11/11/2005 20:20

ok just noticed that you already know it won't fold reverse facing...sorry!
which presumably is what you want it for??

bonym · 11/11/2005 20:36

jstsbcs - - I'm a bit more traditional with my name choices!

DD2 is almost 8mths so don't need it to lie completely flat - would just like it to as she won't sleep in it otherwise!

Thought this was another baby name thread for one horrible moment.

marthamoo · 12/11/2005 19:16

Have just seen jstbcs said that too =- great minds

BonyM · 12/11/2005 21:34

Well, have been out looking with dh today and have ordered an Xplory .

Decided Loola handles were just too low and would get on my nerves after a while, and after trying the xplory, and then the buzz again, the buzz just didn't seem as good from lots of perspectives.

The Xplory is much nicer looking in the "flesh" than I thought it would be be and not as odd as I thought, and having dd up so high will be great - she's so nosy so will love it!

Thanks for all the input.
