Can you use an integrated dishwasher before a doors put on it?

Hope to be moving house soon. Need to buy a dishwasher for the new house as will be leaving ours to the new owners (it's integrated and it'd almost cost more to get the old one out, moved and re-plugged in).

We are going to need a new kitchen at some stage soon and I like integrated dishwashers so that they blend into the kitchen.

The question is ... If I buy a good, integrated dishwasher now ... can I open it easily/use it (without a kitchen door attached to it) before we get around to having the new kitchen done?

Sorry was at work and should have been doing somehting else. The main problem is that integrated dw use the weight of hte attahced door to keep the door open. So it will tend to spring back until you put the door on but I did it for a while.
