If you can bear to wear something a little more common, Virgin do an excellent one
Also Shu Uemura do a hard pencil one and it's FAB

expatinscotland · 10/11/2005 18:21

Harvey Nicks?

expatinscotland · 10/11/2005 18:22

I havent' seen it here, tho. And it is very, very fabulous.

sunchowder · 10/11/2005 18:25

If you are desparate, I will send it to you--MAC has gorgeous eyeliners though, go to Sephora and get a recommendation. Also Strawberrynet.com does free shipping if they carry it. I send for stuff from there just to save the tax. It has always been fresh and nice.

no sephora in england now - they've pulled out.

Harvey Nicks appears to stock Armani make up and there are Armani stores in Birmingham and London.

expatinscotland · 10/11/2005 18:28

Armani foundation. Armani lipsticks. Bliss, pure bliss. Had an unbelievable time in the Armani shop in Las Vegas.

JoolsToo · 10/11/2005 18:28

And Giorgio Armani Eye Mania 3 with its brown hues, £38 from Harvey Nichols, Selfridges and Brown Thomas, will suit everyone.

from Manchesteronline - presumably they will be able to tell if they have grey?

Isn't your husband in the US now?

Have him pick it up in a shopping mall called The Galleria. It'll be much cheaper there I can promise you, b/c the 'sales tax' is only 8.2%.

Cod, they look delicious. Have your tried Christian Dior? I think they have a really nice plum gray color.

expatinscotland · 10/11/2005 18:52

Oh, cod! It's beautiful. What a lovely eye pencil.

And Allure Hall of Fame award! You can't go wrong.

sunchowder · 10/11/2005 18:55

Anyway, have you tried the Bare Essentials line? Very nice products, all natural, feel great on your face and very nice colors for your eyescan use wet or dry. I bought a bunch of them and really like them. Nothing compares to Channel foundationbut, for something nice and light and all day long, I love the bare essentials products.

bundle · 10/11/2005 18:56

they look just like the rimmel ones

expatinscotland · 10/11/2005 18:57

But they're NOTHING like Rimmel. Oooo.

sunchowder · 10/11/2005 18:58

here is a link to the Dior, it only looks like they have the one that even comes close, I like yours better: diorpencil

expatinscotland · 10/11/2005 19:00

Trish McEvoy ones are ace as well.

I want the red lippy Laura Mercier designed for Madonna: M. It would look better on me than on that ragged auld coo.

sunchowder · 10/11/2005 19:01

I like this: winecountry

sunchowder · 10/11/2005 19:02

Yes, Trish has a nice line of products. I am using the Philosphy skin care products and I like them too, very soothing and she has an vitamin C scrub that I enjoy using. Have you tried any of those yet?

puff · 10/11/2005 19:04

Is there a good uk site where you can get lancome/chanel/ysl/dior cosmetics and skincare? I find them, but kind of all over the place. I'm looking for an online version of Harvey Nicks basically. Like the look of the Armani stuff.

God I lurve make up and all things girlie

sunchowder · 10/11/2005 19:05

Inexpensive way to try the cleanser: purity and their cinnamon buns shower stuff is quite tastey. I also like the pure grace cologne.
