Is there anywhere you can hire child carseats in Exeter?

We have to travel to Exeter for a funeral next Monday and it would be a lot easier for us to go by train, but we would need car seats at the other end. Can anyone think of any ideas to help us avoiding having to make a very long car journey with two young children just so that we had their carseats once we were there?

Could you try a car hire company? Although I think you would probably be cheaper buying them tbh.

Does anyone at the other end know people you could borrow from?

Try registering on that area's freecycle and ask one of your relatives if they could collect them for you.

thanks - yes - i've also found a couple of equipment hire people. but trying to get father in law to borrow one which would be by far easiest!
