gps device for GPS device

can anyone recommend one for geo-catching. I don't own a smartphone so can't use some funky app

Garmin eTrex Venture HC I would say is one of the best entry level geocaching gps units if you are not going to use a smartphone type device, most of the Garmin H versions to start with H, HC, HCx. Legend, Venture, Summit are good depends on your budget
