Hmm sports bras are disgusting. The best one I ever had was a Rosa Faia by Anita. It was a size 34F (from when I was breastfeeding I hasten to add) and was rock solid. I don't know if they will do your size or even if this helps just thought I would recommend it. I got it from a very small specialist bra shop. If nothing else it gives this a bump anyway .

Skyler · 07/11/2005 11:59

They are here

NomDePlume · 07/11/2005 12:00

Thanks skyler , I'll have a look

The find a stockist page is quite good it seems. Lots of internet sellers and locations of all the shops too.

NomDePlume · 07/11/2005 12:06

Thanks . Do/Did you do high impact in yours ?

Skyler · 07/11/2005 12:11

Hmmm it is a definate DID at the moment , but yes did aerobics. I seem to recall that the black didn't fit as well as the white one (go figure) despite them being the same size. I don't think it was cheap either so worth getting it fitted properly. The material feels really nice and there are four catches at the back which obviously helps with the support. Worth a try anyway. I will be getting another one when I move back to the UK after Christmas. Am still bf dd2 atm so waiting for boobs to settle a bit lol. I jumped up and down lots in the changing room and seem to remember being amazed that there was no wobble. Convinced me anyway. It is all flooding back now....

Skyler · 07/11/2005 12:13

I sound like a loon sorry. I remember it was the first time I was fitted properly for a bra (ie not crappy M&S 'yes you are a 36b thank you') and it made such a difference.

NomDePlume · 07/11/2005 12:33

lol

clary · 07/11/2005 12:35

berlei shock absorber is what I wear in 32FF, in my size it comes quite high so low-cut tops are a no-no but I generally run in a crew neck top lol

NomDePlume · 07/11/2005 12:36

Yes, I tend not to run in low cut outfits

OP posts:
NomDePlume · 07/11/2005 12:39

Do you find the berlei SA holds you in really well ? Bare minimum of movement ?

OP posts:
bran · 07/11/2005 12:40

What about an Enell bra? They're supposed to hold you rock solid.

Janos · 07/11/2005 14:27

Another recommendation for the Berlei Shock Absorber - I would get a level 4 impact for running. Do get it fitted properly cos they're quite expensive and small in the cup. I'm normally a 34F but need a 36FF in this bra. They don't look great but hey, at least it keeps 'em strapped down.

clary · 07/11/2005 16:35

yes ndp I find it holds them in pretty well. My boobs are vry inclined to wobble as well. But agree with Janos to get it fitted, John Lewis are fab, so much better to have proper fittign bras!
(My size is bizarre, very hard to find, but at least I know I am a 32FF after years of buying 38E etc)

CODalmighty · 09/03/2007 14:20

right got the shcok abspober nad its crap

Surfermum · 09/03/2007 14:22

When I used to do a lot of jogging I wore my normal bra with a sports bra over the top. I couldn't breathe but it held my norks in place quite well.
