desparate for alternative to moses basket...please help!!!

hi everyone,

I really need an alternative to the traditional style moses basket. We have a swinging crib for bedroom but need a bed for daytime sleeping to keep in living room for new baby.

Can anyone suggest anything?? Anyone seen a swinging/rocking baby chair that is flat enough to sleep in?? or any experience of baby specific bean bags?

doesnt have to be on stand, we have a corner sofa so was thinking could take end cushion off and use that sofa space for baby's bed.

any suggestions greatly appreciated....feeling stressed about it.

I use the pram downstairs (carrycot part)

we used a beanbag from jojo maman bebe. was just a round, flattish thing, not one of those ones with straps on... worked fine.
otherwise he was in the carrycot on the pram
