swing at almost 5 months?

Trying to decide whether its worth replacing my baby swing which has literally been my life saver these past 4 months or so. Its gone wrong - was second hand so can't return it - and now my only sanity saver is there no longer. However seems decent swing us upwards of £50 and wondering whether to splash out or best off buying somehting else? Thoughst anyone....

what about replacing it with one of the activity centres which baby is upright in,like the leapfrog learn and groove/fisherprice hpo'n'pop?
i would prob buy another swing if you plan to have more babies as it will get used again,or if you can get another second hand one somewhere?
