Micro Scooters - which one for 6yr old

I'm sure this has been done before.....so apologies in advance....
DD1 will turn 6 next month and is desperate for a micro scooter. I've had a look on the site and am a bit confused...
Do we go for the Maxi Micro Scooter (ages 6-12) which is priced from £94 - or the Aluminium Scooter (ages 6-adult) priced from £48

I'm sure I'm missing something....but why would you buy the £94 one.....? She is a scooter novice....would the Aluminium one be okay??

The aluminium one would be just fine but the Maxi is truly fab. And it has to be a Micro Scooter because they are so well made.

DS1 has a two-wheeler aluminium micro-scooter because DH didn't like the three-wheelers. DS2 has a three-wheeler Maxi because I managed to convince DH they were more fun. I really think they are. DS2 enjoys scooting more than DS1 does. And as an added bonus, the Maxis stand up by themselves.

personally i wouldnt pay that for a scooter!
our kids (nearly 7 and 5) have basic micro scooters from asda, they have been fab, used everyday last yr and still look new,
they were £7 and £3.50

But they don't move nearly as smoothly or well. Having whizzed down a hill in the park on a Micro Scooter and tried to gather any speed at all on a cheapo scooter I know which one I'd prefer. Pure adrenaline!

The micro scooters are fantastic. We got 6yr old DD the age 6-12 one for Christmas, with a view to passing it on to her younger brother. They are smooth, quiet, stable snd easier to steer than the horrible cheap cranky aluminium ones. And we previously had an aluminium one so I can compare!

It is a bit like comparing a Porsche with a Lada. If you could choose either one which would it be? It's a no brainer.

Thanks everyone. I think we will go for the Maxi Micro scooter. I found their website v confusing and only clicked today why the aluminium ones were half the price-as it's got two wheels, instead of three.
Now just got to find the cheapest place but think it's going to be difficult as everywhere is RRP!!

The site I linked to is the UK distributers'. They are really good with info and spare parts when things go wrong.

Not an official Micro scooter, but ds1 has this one and it has been pronounced the coolest one in school!
