Children's suitcases

We're flying to Italy with 5 and 2 year old DSs. I'm thinking of getting a little suitcase for DS1 which will make him feel grown up and which he can stuff with toys for the journey and use as his hand luggage. Is he too old for a Trunki? Was thinking if we got one of those we could give DS2 rides on it to keep him amused but am not keen on getting him his own one as it will just be another thing for us to carry.

Can anyone please advise?

Trunki cases are great we had one and if (when) you are stuck in queues etc at the airport they are a real godsend.

My DS loves his Trunki. His grandma bought it for him when he was 3 and he still loves it now at age 5.
