Want to get some games for me and Ds to play. All the ones we have for the Dd's are too old for him.

Any ideas ?

My DS at that age liked the Shopping List (we didn't put the ones you didn't have back down, just handed them to the rightful owner!) game and Tummy Ache (very easy to play)both orchard toys

Snakes and ladders - 3 yr old dd needs help with counting the number of spaces that she moves the counter along, but she understands the principles of the game.

Any sort of 'snap' card game where you match say one animal to the same sort of animal etc

Dd also plays buckaroo (is that how you spell it?) where you balance objects on a bucking mule

Snakes and ladders - both mine love that (4.5 and 3 on Saturday )

I've just got 2 games from ToysRUs on behalf of my grandparents. Elefun and Tumblin Monkeys - they look like good ones. Tumblin Monkeys is a bit like kerplunk but I didn't want marbles around with ds3.

Elefun

Tumblin monkeys

We also do 'hide the teletubbies' but you can hide anything. Just get them to go out of the room and count to 10 while you 'hide' them round the room. We have to make them quite obvious though!

We've got Elefun Gdg!

Oh we have the shopping game somewhere, had forgotten about that one.

Tumbling Monkeys sounds good, will put that on his list.

Oh is it good hmc? It looks like a fun one on the advert but do the butterflies really go up in the air as well as on the tv?

handlemecarefully · 01/11/2005 11:40

Yes it's fun, but frustratingly I don't think they provide enough butterflies

handlemecarefully · 01/11/2005 11:40

Yes, they do fly up quite high in the air

Gobbledispook · 01/11/2005 11:43

OH tell me that now when I've just bought it . I'm looking forward to playing all these games on christmas day - never mind the boys!!
