Trampolines -do I need the cover, speaker (?!) ladder

and tie down kit?

Just about to buy the Jumpking 10 x 7 Ovalpod. I just dont know if I need any of these accessories which the seller says are available. Will be in a London tiny garden -probably used most of year round by 5 and 7 year old (but height wise more an 8 year old and 10 year old). Each of them costs 15 to 20 extra. What on earth is a speaker for a trampoline?

Does it have an enclosure? If not get one.

You might want to get a ladder, but no to the cover and speaker.

Hi thanks yes it comes with an enclosure - I wouldnt buy one without it!

The enclosure is really important. One day DS left the door unzipped and fell straight out when he was jumping.

But I think they'll be fine without a ladder and cover. Ours has not got rusty all winter and if DS wanted to go on it during the winter I just took a towel out and dried it. We don't have a ladder.

DS is only 4.

I don't know what a speaker is though.

Cover is pointless - you can only really put a cover on a trampoline with no enclosure, unless you have one that attaches to the springs. We have the latter (free with trampoline) and it's pointless. Not waterproof, never on when it starts to rain, and would drive me to distraction to have to take it off every time DD wanted to bounce.

Trampoline speakers. Tiny London garden? Do you hate your neighbours? :o

Ladder is reasonably useful, but we've had ours since DD was four, so definitely needed then.

i would go for the ladder (depending on the price, they are about £15 delivered from ebay)

Enclosure and ladder. That's all.
