Howdo

I have a Sony e reader and am really happy with it. However, I have been looking into borrowing e books from libraries and can not seem to find any the only ones I can see are in America! What do people do just try to join american libraries? I wanted books that have been recently published.

Many UK libraries do, some will require you to live in their area some don't.

Try:

Enfield
Tower Hamlets
Essex

There's a list towards the bottom of this page. I love borrowing eBooks Smile. Remember to make sure you're borrowing the right format for the Sony as some libraries stock lots of formats but not for all books...

Surrey do but "I think" you have to live in Surrey. They also don't buy new ones often enough. they only support epub no kindle

Leeds do it too though you do have to live there to join. There are some American libraries which you can join regardless of where you live, you just have to pay a small one off charge. I remember reading a thread about it on mobile read forums ages ago.
