you know the ones - where you dont need a pc (just a card from your camera).

Seen a couple advertised on tv but just wondered if anyone had one and what they were like.

I seem to spend a fortune on photo development!

i have a hp photosmart but never use it tbh. its not as good as getting them done profesionally and its much more expensive when you add up cost of ink and paper (dont be tempted to use cheap stuff it looks dreadful). we use digital cameras and store pics on printer, then take them down to photoshop once or twice a year. is lots cheaper than getting films developed and you only have to print the ones you want. if you want to fiddle about with photos first you can do that on your pc before you take them there

We've got one - think it's an Epson but can't remember at moment. I love it - I don't print many photos though but it's faster and better than the cheap Lexmark we used to have - and I can print using camera card if I want. Yuo can print a proof sheet straight from the camera card - then you tick the prints you want, scan it and it prints copies! Brilliant! I guess if you do want a lot of prints taking them all to a photoshop will be cheaper.
