Suggestions for winter coat for DS (20 months)

I have looked all round and they are all really thick & puffy, and DS hates getting overheated, however, he needs something.
Would like navy or other blue, ideally. No denim or shiny material. Ideas please?

i have the BEST coat ever for ds!

it's this one

it's only a layer of fleece but because it is polartec it is nice and weatherproof and SO warm! it''s really a lovely coat
