Great!
(Blimey, what will they think of next? A hanglider/cot???)

misdee · 26/10/2005 18:00

good idea. looks sturdy.

hunkerpumpkin · 26/10/2005 18:02

Ironically I was looking on eBay at Phil and Ted's doubles when I came across that - so may well only buy that and keep my lovely Jane Carrera

i am selling my phil and teds

hunkerpumpkin · 26/10/2005 18:05

LOL Misdee! Really not sure I can justify buying one - which is why I was rather pleased to find the buggypod. Had seen some kind of saddle-type arrangement before (a strolli-rider?) that looked precarious - I like that this buggypod has straps to contain the child

I think the tamba people are doing a review! It looks great...but will only fit carrera, techno, pilko style pushchairs....will not fit most three wheelers..as far as I can gather you need to have a bar parallel with the floor for it to fit your buggy. It would have been great for me....(bit late now as i have e3!) but it doesn't fit bugaboos (my other pram.......)

hunkerpumpkin · 26/10/2005 20:18

Thanks for tip - I have a Carrera, so hoping it will work!

Maybe one drawback is lack of sun hood / water proof etc. for this side seat, and maybe impact on aforementioned items associated with the main stroller IYSWIM...

Hiya hunker, hope you're well and looking radiant !!!!!!!

vickiyumyum · 26/10/2005 21:24

ooh looks good! much better than double buggy, especially for those of you with older toddlers who don't want to sit in teh buggy all the time.

i particularly like that it folds flat against the buggy.

hunkerpumpkin · 26/10/2005 23:07

Hey, Hub - am not well (sore throat with white boogles on tonsils - ick) and not radiant as have sore pelvis, but other than that...I'm fine! How are you all?

Apparently you can get a hood and raincover for this seat too - really want to see one in the flesh though.

The inside of your mouth sounds like a damn ugly place, sneaky ! .... and the pelvis sounds equally unpleasant.

But... aside, from that, hope you and (insert bean / pod / shrimp word here) are growing nicely.

We're fine (actually a wee bit bunged up with colourful sputum ewwwwwww) but dd is sleeping loads at night, usually now making it to 7, but sometimes getting tetchy / hungry at 5 or 6 (like this morning, LOL), her last feed probably came a little too early to fuel her up for a nice long sleep, but we were all a little knacked, so in bed by 9 LOL.

The accessories for the buggypod sound fab, it's quite a neat solution IMO. Like a foldable motorcycle sidecar LOL !
