It arrived at about 6pm.
Lottie got a bit upset when it was time to come out! D put out his arms to her and she pushed herself further in and said 'nooooooooooooooo, nooooooooooooo' and then looked at me for some support! She's now in bed and D and I are still playing, with the E3
It's fab and you were all right, thanks

I refuse to comment on the grounds I may incriminate myself lol

sweetkitty · 25/10/2005 21:09

Trying to convince DP we need an E3 (will have 18 mnth gap) but he says it's too expensive have tried to use the "but I can sell it on for a fortune on ebay afterwards" as well.

Where did you get it from Thombat (kiddicare are selling them for £348 plus doubles kit think this is the cheapest I've seen)

Also do you think it would fit in the boor of a small car like a Clio?

I know I really want one now it's just a question of affording it.

monstrousmummy · 26/10/2005 09:37

sweetkitty....kiddicare sell on for 249.99...and you can get the raincover for 19.99 from them...I ten bought the doubles seat from babies247.com for 49.99 or 54.99...works out less than 330!!

This IS the cheapest u can get it.....I loooked everywhere!!

PS_ postage is free on all of that.

monstrousmummy · 26/10/2005 09:38

at least you can do this in Navy...version!

Let me know if you want links!

monstrousmummy · 26/10/2005 09:38

What colour did you go for Thombat?

sweetkitty · 26/10/2005 09:49

Thanks I'll have a look at all the options, I'm off to the Glasgow Pram Centre next weekend to see one in the flesh (and convince DP) have already got a cocoon (long story).

Think the "how am I going to manage lugging a double buggy in and out of a Clio boot" might work as well.

monstrousmummy · 26/10/2005 10:48

indeed...I had a double nipper and couldn't cope with it in and out of our picasso!! the E3 is much easier!

Hope you can convince your dp.

Lizzylou · 26/10/2005 10:50

Glad you like it, Thombat, we're buying ours this weekend.....

noops · 26/10/2005 10:57

i lurve minbe to bits
i reckon it will last for years as it goes into a Very Useful single buggy when the older one is walking and the younger one still needs buggy.
so i reckon the one we have just bought will last until ds2 doesn't need a buggy, whcihc will be a while as he is 9 weeks
it is a million times better than getting a side by side buggy for the two of them and then having to ditch that later.
the e3 takes a buggy board apparently so increasing its versatility and overall fabulousness IMO

ThomBat · 26/10/2005 14:33

I got the charcoal gray, with 2 pannier bags, rain cover, carry cot and 2 lambskin seat covers!
I went a bit mad.
Been doing a bit of that recently! Pregnancy hormones, that's my excuse

I like the charcoal grey one too really want one now, think DP is thinking about the huge travel system we bought for DD then ditched for a Techno XT after 3 months.

ThomBat · 26/10/2005 14:41

Well tell DP that D and i spent ages choosing this and it's deffo the right choice, so we've done all the research for him! .
We bought our mamas & papas single buggy and it's still going strong and is fab.
The E3 however ROCKS!
