my mil is very small. It seems to be the main focus of her day, bless her.
Anyway, one thing she complains about often is getting numb legs sitting eg on restaurant chairs or the toilet ().

So, is there such a product / company out there that make products for little people, as ther is eg for left handed people?

Any ideas what I can get her to make her sitting life a little easier when out of her home. Basically something easily transported & a tad more glamourous than a cardboard box I guess

For sitting on the loo, why not get a little step that kids use when very small? (can't think what it's called, you know the thing I mean?) We've still got ours and I use it to reach into the kitchen cupboards now!!

thanks miaou. That's what she/we've got at home. I was after buying her a present if possible for when she/we go out. we went out for a meal a couple of weeks ago & she spent the whole meal moaning about how her feet didn't reach the floor, her legs were numb etc.

this sort of thing?

ernest · 26/10/2005 10:32

miaou you're great that's the sort of thing, just maybe need to scale it down to fit in a handbag! dunno if she's carry that under her arm into a restaurant. I'd thought of something inflatable, but she's so crap she couldn't blow up the kids' arm bands when they went swimming. there must be something out there for 'little people'??

Pleasure Hope it suits her.

I was amazed too actually - what a neat little thing! And the site has loads of other nifty gadgets, I have bookmarked it, it's the kind I love wandering through.
