Does anyone know where i can find childrens shoes which are suitable for walking and will fit a toddler with tiny 0-3 month feet?

Are these for a toddler? Are they walking? Would suggest getting their feet measured and shoes fitted, somewhere like Clarks or Johnsons. You won't find 'walking' shoes in 0-3 month size!

clarks do a crawler which is the smallest shoe they do but is leather and with rubber spots

SoundTheOctoalert · 15/03/2011 21:12

My friend managed to get shoes from a 'continental' shoe shop for her tiny ds, think they were Uk size 2. This was just a local shop that stocks stuff from Spain and Italy etc., we have a few around us so worth trying any you have?

shellysblues · 15/03/2011 21:14

Yes for a toddler on the verge of walking so trying to source. I tried to get them measured but the measure didn't go that small. I'll try clarks again ta.

if you go to somewhere like clarks they'll be able to measure and hopefully fit,
their walking shoes start at a size 3

if the child isn't walking yet you don't need, or want, them tbh

children's feet benefit from being left unfettered! so wait until s/he is actually walking before worrying about shoes.

Startrite come up smaller than clarks and their 'cruisers' start at a 2. They were fine for DD for the first few months she was walking.

DaydreamDollyisshrinking · 15/03/2011 21:21

Yes, cruisers will be fine until they've been walking a few weeks/months even, as thisisyesterday says, it's better not to rush them into harder shoes.

KenDoddsDadsDog · 15/03/2011 21:26

I just got 1 year DD a pair of cruisers. She has tiny feet but is almost walking.

shellysblues · 15/03/2011 21:30

Cruisers don't go that small either and yes i have checked clarks, startrite and similar. Thanks for trying to help.

Shuzu start from a size 2 which is smaller than Clarks/StartRite.

WinlessChunder · 15/03/2011 21:36

Bobux I-Walks go down quite small I think. I used them for DD who had tiny feet - too small for cruisers.

PurveyorOfWoo · 15/03/2011 21:42

See Kai Run do lovely baby shoes these or these, cute, soft and flexible. I know this is an American site, but there are UK stockists.

missmakesstuff · 15/03/2011 21:47

We have put DD (11 months, tiny, still in some 0-3 clothes)in Daisy Roots - they are soft flexible leather with suede soles, so give her a bit of grip on our floors for when she is constantly trying to pull herself round the room, or if we are out and I don't like the look of the floor much!

Think they are around £20 online, but we got hers in TK Maxx for much less, have seen copies on ebay, not sure what they are like. Also only shoes that will stay on her feet!

shellysblues · 15/03/2011 22:05

Thanks i now have some lovely shoe shops to buy from! Still nothing small enough although Bobux, See Kai Run and Daisy Roots do a 0-6 month size which is close, i might just try and pair a see.

Look at No Added Sugar too for leather shoes with suede soles. Not sturdy walkers but better than the soft shoes.
