artificial mini/table-top Christmas tree - where to find?

I want to find a mini-Xmas tree to go on a mantlepiece. Plan is to hang Advent decorations on it so I am looking for an, ideally, silver-coloured twig collection rather than a typical Xmas tree. I'm going to have a go making it with twigs sprayed silver but knowing my handicraft skills I would like a fall-back option.

Not sure if you can picture what I mean from the description but if you can, grateful for ideas where I can find such a thing.

saw something like you are describing in homebase the other day ...quite cheap too if i call correctly. does anyone know where you can buy the paper chains that you make yourself by linking them up . i have fond memories fo making these as a child with my mum and woiuld like to do the same with my 2dds.
