Second hand estate

We're looking for a 2nd hand estate and can't decide between a Passat, Volvo V70 or Ford Mondeo. They all offer such different pros and cons...we're stuck! Any thoughts will be gratefully read..thanks

The VW Passat is fabulous, really big inside, and reliable. BUT it does about 25mpg in the city and with petrol prices the way they are, that is something worth considering.
