Okay everyone, this surely will seem like a silly question. But I'm new to this country, so I'm full of them!

How do I find out about car boot sales? I've looked in the local paper, but there weren't any listings.

Any tips would be most appreciated!

I've always found them through the local paper, so don't know what else to suggest - sorry!

Papers like Loot or Admag sometimes have a special section.

Your local paper may publish details on one day of the week (it's in the weekend supplement of our paper's Friday edition).

Driving around (I see signs at fire stations, cricket clubs, local schools).
