The Emma Bridgewater website does lovely personalised mugs / plates etc. I am a Bridgewater fan and have got a few pieces of china, so would love it if my child received something from there!
Also, I always think that books are a lovely gift.

I got my godson a really nice Usborne children's book of biblical stories...

JoPG · 22/10/2005 21:08

Ooo yes - I bought a wooden noah's ark for a christening present once. Nice toy, and also with a biblical theme which works well for a christening.

Ernest & Jones have a lovely sterling silver New Testament for £30. It is a lovely christening present and hope someone gives it to my dd2 who is baptized next month. They also have a christening gift section on the web page. www.ernestjones.co.uk
