I usually get something of me, dp and the kids and then another little something of the kids.

Total can't be anymore than £25 and less would be great.

Can't think of a thing at the mo.

She does like books yes but i'm not sure which ones she has already read. Might have to do some subtle questioning.

Don't think she has mentioned any CD's. She has just got a dvd player so I could get her a dvd, just have to think of one.

this depends how well off your mum is, but my mum loved it when i gave her £10 and told her it had to be spent on herself cos she never had money to treat herself. ok its not much but she appreciated it. i am currently picking out a load of photos to compile a photo album for mils birthday. i have also bought her a glass vase which i am going to get the kids to glass paint (i think you can get starter sets of glass paints for less than £10 and you can use them over and over again).

Hiya, I was thinking of getting my mum a gift voucher for the local nail or beauty salon so she could pamper herself with a manicure/pedicure/massage etc.
