Extra tall stair gates, do they exist?

Hi
I am desperately looking for a really tall stair gate, my ds is an escape artist! Im even thinking of putting a garden gate at the top of my stairs!
My son is two and is already trying to climb over the standard height ones and if they are at the top of the stairs thats a scary thought. I can't believe that nobody seems to do a stairgate over 105cm!! It would be wonderful to have a real gate to stop this worry.
I would happily pay more to have this kind of piece of mind
If there is something like this already on the market PLEASE PLEASE point me in the right direction.
THanks :)

Have you thought of a pressure fitted dog gate?

They are much taller and you can get them in Argos.

Yep - they are called dog gates! Available in argos I think.

You need a dog gate! Smile

I got a dog gate which was slightly higher then a baby gate, just be sure that you check the height before you buy as some are smaller then others

Hi
Thanks for your quick replies! I just had a look at the dog gates on argos but I can't find anything higher than 108cm. Im gonna try some other sites fir them though, thanks! :)

remember you can leave a bit more of a gap at the bottom which would make them higher or perhaps start teaching him how to go down the stairs backwards safely.

You are all wonderful! I have found some! :) Im not a pet owner so I never thought to search under dog gate. I was also measuring from the floor up and forgetting to leave a bit of a gap so 105cm should be fine :)
Can't believe Im so thick, but that explains why I seemed to be the only one with this problem, duh!
Thanks again! It will be a lot off my brain and as Ive clearly shown, my brain needs a bit of help! Blush
