T-shirt cotton fitted sheets

You know what I mean? T-shirt cotton that is stretchy rather than the usual "flat" cotton used for sheets. I bought a couple of these years ago in M&S and John Lewis but can't see anything like it on either website. ANyone know where I can get these? They are FAR better than standard cotton as they're more stretchy and fit the bed better, shrinking has less effect and DS seems to prefer them.

I must try getting a commission from Argos as I do a link to them most weeks! They also do them in Heather, grey and Blue.

flamebat · 20/10/2005 09:50

Oooh Northerner - are they any good? Always been worried that they might be really thin because they are Asda...

desperatehousewife · 20/10/2005 09:54

normally called brushed cotton aren't they? They are lovely and snuggly. Lidl (!!) sometimes do them dirt cheap and they are fab!

JanH · 20/10/2005 10:02

I have a range of them from Lidl, Davros. They come in loads of different colours and are only £3.99 each as a rule. The bad news is they come and go (you know how Lidl works!)

Good news is that la Redoute also do them, in twinpacks for £8. Eight different colours and white. Homepage (can't link to actual pages there - search for jersey sheets in Interieurs.)

The Asda sets are called 'heavyweight jersey'.

elitemeetupCOD · 20/10/2005 17:38

Davros · 20/10/2005 19:59

I am dim! I'm also vair delighted to know that I can get them easy peasy! The truth is, I hardly ever go to "proper" shops and spend all DH's hard earned on grub and grog
Thanks everyone.
