Leapster - any good?

just wondering if anyones dd or ds has one of these and which one......L-max or normal leapster? Thinking of buying one for dds xmas pressie.

Have a search on leap pad and leapster. I did one a few days ago. Nothing conclusive though loads liked them and a few didn't. I was thinking of getting his grandparents to get my son one but am still usure.

Was looking at Leapster for DD just turned 4 for Xmas. We met people on holiday with one & she loved it when she had a go, could've been 'someone else's toy' syndrome but seemed genuinely interested.
