Which stage 3 car seat?

DS1 is 3 and is outgrowing his car seat (Maxi cosi priori). Just looked in Mothercare catalogue and it seems for the next stage we have two options. One that is a high back booster which uses the adult seat belt to secure car seat and child, the other is more expensive but uses the adult belt to attach car seat and then there is a 5 point harness inside seat for child. Both are for same weight (15kg upwards)

Any tips?

Thinkt he advice is to use a harnessed one as long as possible. The ones which "convert" from harness to booster with adult belt like the Britax Trio did poorly in the Which ? assessment because they were felt to compromise safety in the booster phase. Britax Elite goes up to 24kg ish with a harness. Mothercare own brand ones never seem to come out well either.

We subscribe... if you are interested they do the car seat bit every june so thats the month to subscribe, then cancel the direct debit!

i think you can get it online as well by paying a small fee. Im sure you get a 30day free trial (tho i may be wrong) so you could do that to have a look then cancel it again!

also most libraries have them. just remember to only look in june editions!
