DD has just mentioned that she would like a "pink drinking fountain - so she can have fresh water in her room" - apparently this exists and she has seen it in a magazine.

Does anyone konw what she could be referring to?!

hmmm argos have a water dispenser...

charliebat · 16/10/2005 20:46

here...hello kitty one

peckarollover · 16/10/2005 20:50

Brilliant! Have just found a groovy chick on there too. Now I have a dilemma - she loves groovy chick at the moment but it cant have been that one she has seen or she would have said it was groovy chick.

So do I get her the one she has seen (probably hello kitty) or the groovy chick one?

Its a fine line getting her slightly the wrong one isnt it even if she does like groovy chick?lol

I suspect that will be the case with DD too.

I'm getting her it in a "see Mummy does listen and try to get you what you would like" way

I am sure Argos also do a plain pink one too, no characters on it. It was in the sale in our local Argos recently.

charliebat · 16/10/2005 20:53

Can you ask her if this is what it is shes talking about and see which one she hmmms about most?
We have a plain one and it was used once and its now gathering dust...try telling that to yur dd though

peckarollover · 16/10/2005 20:54

wonder if its is the plain pink one as she even mentioned maybe putting a groovy chick sticker on it

Dsd had a Groovy Chick one for her birthday a year ago. Was over the moon. She got some plastic cups and decorated them so all her friends could have their own cup. I've just realised that it's never been refilled. There's probably a dead mouse in the bottom of it.

BTW we got it in Makro, but I think they do them in Argos now.

I got mine for 2.50 in poundstrecthers

ScarySkribble · 16/10/2005 21:06

£2.50 sounds good, I thought &7.99 for a plain hot pink one in Argos was good .

peckarollover · 17/10/2005 17:33

Is the hot pink plain one still available anywhere?

Argos for &7.99 instore or online, note none of these cheap models chill the water, cheapest I have seen for that is £30.
