Car seat for a 3 yr old ???

Ds will be 3 soon and it's getting quite hard to lift him into his car seat, which is a Britax one that reclines, has 3 point harness etc.

I think he now needs something a bit more accesible as i tend to bang his head on the roof now when trying to get him in and out.

I'd like a booster one with a back, but still with a 3 point harness, if such a thing exists.

Any ideas ?

The elite looks good but i was kinda hoping that there was one that splits into a seperate booster seat for when he's older.

I wouldnt go for the trio, as it did V poorley in the which safety reports.

How much does he weigh? if over 15kg you could go for the Britax highliner which is a proper booster seat with back and lots of head support, and can be used with all this protection until 11 years.

If hes not over 15kg then keep him in current car seat.

Car seat with a harness are safer then those without, so if possible hold on until he is nearly 18kg (and not too tall obviously)
