Where can I buy a Star Wars light sabre online?

I had a look a couple of weeks ago and anywhere that had them was out of stock. I'd really like to order one now for ds's birthday, which is at the beginning of October. Any ideas? Do Hamleys have them? If so I could send someone there to get one but their website is under construction so I can't check. I know, I could call them, but I suspect they won't be the cheapest light sabre supplier anyway so any other ideas appreciated. It has to be green btw. TIA.

www, we have 4 we need to get rid of - one blue and one green (both make annoying noises) and 2 silent double-ended red ones.

Not new but good as. They all light up too but the reds are a bit feeble.

Contact me via mumsnet!

Oops - don't get excited yet though - need to test them with new batteries and they take Cs which of course I don't have any of (have everything else - typical!)

Have to go into town later so will get some and check that full awful noise capacity still exists.

Agggh, Janh, I've just bought a green one (via Toyworld & Trafford Centre Manchester online if anyone's interested) for a tenner but if you're sure you don't want them I'd LOVE the others too. He's so mad about Star Wars I can't think he could have enough Light Sabres. Just hoping they don't lead to unimaginably violent games! Thanks, brilliant, will email you now!

Oh, good, that link was Toyworld, what a fantastic site - hadn't come across it before, just wondering now if I am sorry or glad that the internet didn't exist when mine were little!

Will look out for your email - we were planning to have a clear out any day now anyway!

You'd be poorer if it had I reckon Janh! If anyone visits that site, make sure you register with the trafford centre online first and then go to the shop from there - then you get free delivery from all the trafford centre stores online. If I hadn't noticed, delivery would have been another £3.95 on top of the £9.99 for the light sabre. Proportionally quite a bit. I do think the internet's marvelous - the idea that I can buy a toy from Manchester and it'll probably be here in Devon tomorrow is great.

Janh, just to let you know that these went down extremely well, especially the double ended 'dark side' red one. I'm not so sure about them since they randomly go off and make a racket but hey, my boy's happy BTW, I've emailed you asking for your address and haven't had a reply - could you email it to me again and then I can send you the postage. Say thanks to your boys for me won't you? They made a 6 year old very happy. Posting this here since I really ought not to be here and I haven't got time to log into my hotmail, find your address etc etc.

Will do, m'dear - sorry, meant to do it earlier, but you know how it is...!

Will pass on thanks to boys and I'm really glad he likes them so much! (I know what you mean about them going off at random - the switches are very sensitive - and then they hum like living things. OK when you get used to it.)

Blimey - I just had another look at that kelkoo page that turns up from my link, for old times' sake - they have a "replica" Darth Maul one made of metal (it isn't shown to have the red ends though) for age 14+ and it's THREE HUNDRED POUNDS!!! For mad sad adult Star Wars fans presumably.
