I have started with sorting out the kid's stockings (before everyone thinks I am a Soapbox who has finished already ) and am doing really well with 4yo DS. So far he has got:

A stamp with his name on
A Darth Vader book mark
A matchbox car with a roof box
A quadbike with a farmer on
Some little hens and ducks for his farm
A rubbery spider type thing
A book
Star wars pants
A knight and horse

I will get both kids choc coins

Other ideas for DS are a small lego set, playmobil etc

I have put that in for comparison.

For DD I have got
A noo-noo (Teletubby) off Ebay
Little Miss Christmas
Some hair clips

Her stocking will have some gaps unless I can come up with more ideas. She will be 19 months at Christmas.

Boots 3 for 2 very good for stocking fillers

I did actually think of buying a pack of knickers because they pad things out nicely (always get DS a set of pants) although she is not yet potty trained but plan on doing it in the spring. Will look on Boots. And maybe some HappyLand people - she has the thatched cottage already. House is full of crayons already.

Just not really got into buying girls things yet. She was with me when we bought DS's spider and seemed quite taken with it....
