we got the LITTLE TIKES one about 8 years ago for DS and it has been played with non stop all that time and loved by everyone

deffo brill

It is big enough for several children to play at same time and with table joined on

whimsywhoo · 12/10/2005 19:54

Agree, the little tikes one, made to last

Katemum · 12/10/2005 19:56

The fisher price one is still half price in ToysRUs but don't know what it is like. We bought the ELC one three years ago and it's been fine.

There was one reduced in Woolworths the other week - Berchet or Smoby iirc

LilacBump · 12/10/2005 20:07

the red smoby tefal one (around £60) is pretty rubbish. it's all falling apart a bit. DD pulled the fridge door off very easily. the hood bit is breaking at the back...

frannykenstein · 12/10/2005 20:09

A really beautiful wooden one here if you don't want yet another huge lump of plastic in the house. However seems to be more popular with adults than with children so far in our house.

bagpussmice · 12/10/2005 20:14

have bought dd the new wooden one from ELC - she's played with one the same at Nursery and loves it... she will be 2 at the weekend.
