Table and chairs for messy play

Hi

I would like to do some messy play / finger painting etc with my 10 month old - has anyone found any good table/chair sets that don't cost a complete fortune and that she wont grow out of really quickly?

I have seen the Ikea sets but I'm not sure if they are still a bit big for her and also I'm not sure they do a chair that I could strap her in to.

Any suggestions?

Wilkinsons do cheap ones. I got two chairs for £5 (there was a table but I already had one so not sure how much it was but not much). Can't strap in but would be better to buy reins that allow you to attach to a chair (we had to do this with dd's high chair as she could get out of the straps on hers!

Thanks - Ill have a look in Wilkinsons! I hadnt thought of strapping her in using reins. so thanks for that suggestion too!

we had a wee cheap garden table and chairs from tesco, they should get them in soon, table was about £5 and chairs were £2ish each, the chairs have arms so slightly better for a lo.

do you have a dining table??you can get wee highchairs that strap onto your seats adn just put a plastic table cover over.thats what we do x

Thanks for this - I did look in Tescos but didnt see anything, so will have another hunt. We have got a dining table but its got quite a low panel round it so we wouldnt be able to fit her on a booster seat under the table...shame though as this would probably be the cheapest option for now! Thanks for posting...
