Car sear for Smart Car

Any Smart Car drivers out there? Expecting my first baby in a month and wondering if there are any suitable car seats for the passenger side (I will get the air bag dismantled, of course!)?

When my friend had one you had to buy thier seat that had a sensor in it that turned off the airbag

Any seat will do, as long as you ensure the air bag is disconnected.

I don't know if things have changed but I was told by Mercedes that the only way to turn off the air bag was by disconnecting it, but that that was a permanent work, couldn't be enabled back.
