Help - Pushchair product advice needed

Hi everyone,

HELP!

I live in a first floor (london) flat with no lift and 2 flights of stairs and am due June 2011.
I am quite tall (5ft 11), and also want a pushchair which has a reversible seat so baby can face me. Think I need a "2 in 1 system" (travel systems look way too heavy)...

I am getting a bit overwhelmed with all the pram/buggy choices - factoring in the above (i.e need something as light as possible, adjustable to suit tall person handles, reversible) - what do other Mums/carers suggest I buy?

Thanks very much,

Fi

I lived in a second floor flat quite like yourself when I had DS1. We made the mistake of buying a huge silvercross style pram with carrycot. It was far too bouncy to bump up and down stairs and far too heavy for me to carry by myself (post section was a nightmare). I ended up getting a Maclaren and it was fab.

How are you planning on getting the pram up and down? Would you prefer folding it and carrying baby up or bumping it up and down?

Baby Jogger City Minis are great folding prams, you can do it one handed with a strap and without havin to stoop down and carry it up with the baby in the other hand no problem.
